Safety Working Group Minutes & Agenda

Spring Meeting 2026 – Agenda

Mission

To work together as a team for the express purpose of identifying hazards in the anchored earth retention, drilled shaft, and micropile workplace before accidents occur, and then minimize our employees’ risk by changing exposure to the hazards by educating (increasing awareness), administering (creating rules), or by engineering (re-configuring) the hazards out of the workplace.
The mission is achieved through regular committee meetings, training sessions, magazine articles, and written manuals to ensure that safety is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. The Safety Working Group Committee shall review and update this information to ensure state-of-the-art information is available to our members, to place the highest value on the welfare of the individual, to instill a sense of ownership, and to embrace excellence in all aspects of safety performance.

Goal

Assemble, evaluate, and disseminate safety-related information from the construction industry and OSHA to our fellow ADSC members. Our goals are simple: (1) to create added value for our members through best-in-class performance in environment, safety, and health, and (2) to respond in an appropriate manner to proposed safety standards or regulations that may affect our industry. We pledge to place the safety and well-being of our employees first and to embody honesty and integrity in the pursuit of our mission.
