Fall meeting
November 20, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Join us for an exciting evening overlooking the Cuyahoga River as we explore one of Cleveland’s most significant infrastructure projects. Merwin’s Wharf provides the perfect vantage point, situated directly across the river from the Irishtown Bend project site.
Agenda:
5:00 PM Happy Hour & Networking
6:00 PM ADSC Chapter Meeting & Technical Presentation
Featured Presentation:
Representatives from Goettle and Osborne Engineering will present the Irishtown Bend Stabilization project, a critical infrastructure initiative addressing the steep riverbank stabilization along the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. This complex geotechnical project involves innovative slope stabilization techniques to protect existing infrastructure while preserving the area’s natural riverfront character. The project represents a significant engineering challenge, requiring careful coordination between environmental considerations and structural stability requirements. This unique venue location offers attendees the opportunity to view the actual project site while learning about the engineering solutions being implemented.
