ANNOUNCEMENT:

In an effort to further address urgent safety and health problems facing Americans in the workplace, OSHA is implementing a new Severe Violator Enforcement Program (SVEP) and increasing civil penalty amounts. This new program is intended to focus OSHA enforcement resources on employers who endanger workers by demonstrating indifference to their responsibilities under the law. This additional enforcement tool includes increased OSHA inspections in these worksites, including mandatory OSHA follow-up inspections, and inspections of other worksites of the same employer where similar hazards and deficiencies may be present. Regional Leadership Training in the Northeast

ADSC's New Leadership Institute

The ADSC Northeast Chapter, along with ADSC member, Carlos Maese,
Human Dynamics, Inc., will provide Northeast Chapter members the first of its
kind - "Leadership Institute".

This "new" educational program is designed for all members, and will provide
participants with a basic set of leadership and people skills which can be
applied immediately upon their return to work. The entire course is a series of
three, two-day classes, which take place on March 22-23, July 20-21 and
October 26-27, 2007, in New York City. Each tier is designed to have it's own very
focused and immediate impact on the participants performance, and upon completion
of all three tiers, the student will have developed a solid set of interpersonal and
leadership skills which will increase their productivity.

Human Dynamics has over 25 years of experience in organizational and leadership
development. They have worked directly with several members of ADSC, and
understand the challenges and needs of ADSC members.
