February 6, 2012 Dear Members of ADSC South Central Chapter. The ADSC International Association and your local regional chapter are committed to working together collectively to establish high standards and promote ethical practices to support the growth of the drilling industry. Technology in the past decade has rapidly advanced the drilling industry. Active members of the ADSC strive to stay ahead of the learning curve through technical education and safety seminars to benefit everyone ... from the company owner to an equipment operator. Local Chapter liaisons with area universities have been established to create relationships with the faculty. Students are introduced to the drilling industry as a viable career choice and scholarships are offered to eligible college applicants. The South Central Chapter has committed itself to endow the Johnny Stevens Scholarship. These scholarships are funded on the local chapter level through your payment of nominal membership dues and fund raising events throughout the year. Constraints on your time may at times not permit you to actively participate in Chapter activities, but I can not stress how much your payment of annual Chapter membership dues supports the efforts of the South Central Chapter and the industry as a whole. These funds are used to meet Chapter obligations to continue with industry research projects and the offering of scholarships to future professional joining our industry. If you are current with your Chapter dues, I thank you for your support. However, if your account is past due, I urge you to bring your account current. I look forward to seeing you all at the next Chapter meeting. Sincerely yours, Donald F Grant, Sr. President ADSC-South Central Chapter DFG/vdw
