Chapter Presidents Council

Mission

The mission of the Chapter Presidents Council is to continually define and deliver the necessary resources for ADSC-IAFD Chapter Presidents 
  • to structure and sustain chapter business functions that emphasizes the value in the relationship between our members and the organization 
  • to cultivate leadership in our members
  • to ultimately promote the products of the ADSC-IAFD
Goals

  • Define the needs of the chapters and develop the resources that will assist chapter presidents to achieve a reliable, functioning framework of chapter operations
  • Develop and forge a partnership and agenda between National, the Board and Chapter presidents that clearly defines a game plan for the chapters
  • Establish an action plan (define roles and responsibilities at the National, Board, and Chapter levels) at the National/Board level before progression to the chapter level
  • Define chapter structure
  • Work with National to put a delivery system (personnel and products) in place to meet the specific needs of the chapters
  • Emphasize the value in the relationship between the member and the organization
  • Cultivate leadership in our members and ADSC National Staff


Council Membership

Requirements for Council Membership

Membership in the Council is limited to Chapter Presidents, Immediate Past ADSC President, ADSC CEO, ADSC Staff Liaison, and the Recording Secretary of the Council (ADSC staff person). Attendance at the meeting is available to all ADSC members.

Council Meetings

The Chapter Presidents Council meetings occur four times a year at the Annual Meeting, Spring Board Meeting, Summer Meeting, and Fall Board Meeting.
